    Description

    This course will focus primarily on race, gender, class and sexuality and the interrelated systems of inequality based in social relationships of power and control. It will examine the privileged positions of those with power and control and the oppressions that harm and restrict others. Aconceptual framework will be used to understand and recognize dimensions of privilege and oppression and how these processes are manifested within interpersonal and institutional relationships.It is a support course for the Criminal Justice Program. It is a support course forthe Criminal Justice Program. This is a writing intensive course and meets a diversity requirement. Offered Fall Every Other Year
