Description
This course will focus on the study of the basic uses and functions of insurance as applied to the overall treatment of risk.
Emphasis willbe on understanding how insurance helps to solve some personal financial problems. Basic insurance concepts including review
of the risks that households experience and the policies used to ensureagainst these risks are presented from the viewpoint of the
consumer.
