Description
Advanced study of harmony with increased emphasis on chromaticism through
identification and analysis of secondary functions, modulation, the Neapolitan
chord, and augmented sixth chords. Advanced training in sight singing and ear
training will include harmonic dictation. MUS 2412 includes an introduction to the
techniques of twentieth century composers.
