Description
A survey of the history of Europe from about 1400 to 1800. Topics will include the Renaissance and Reformation; transitions from feudal to capitalist and colonial economies; health and epidemic diseases; women's experiences, sexuality and family life; the Scientific Revolution and Enlightenment; absolutism and the development of modern nation states. Offered: Fall/Every Two Years
Prerequisite: ENGL 1301 and one 1000 or 2000 level history course
