Description

Designed specifically for students seeking admission into the Teacher Preparation Program, this introductory course offers an overview of the teacher certification process, roles and responsibilities of Texas educators, and the structure of state educational systems. Student�s academic preparation will be evaluated via diagnosticinstruments, a demonstration of oral and written proficiency, and initiate development of the required pre-service electronic Professional Portfolio. 16 hours of required field based experience allows students to explore different educational levels in at least two school settings.
